Trollius Europaeus Lemon Queen

Trollius x cultorum ‘Lemon Queen’ is perfect for adding a cheery splash of colour to damp borders, boggy spots and the margins of ponds and streams. In late spring and early summer, rounded bright yellow blooms are held on upright stems above a mound of attractive, finely cut deep green foliage. Globeflowers thrive on heavy soils, making them very useful for tricky clay areas. Height and spread: 60cm (24in).

Grow Trollius in moist, fertile soil which doesn’t dry out in summer. Globeflowers particularly enjoy a heavy soil, making them useful in areas of heavy clay. Choose a position in sun or semi shade.
