New for 2023, Rosa ‘Everglow Ruby’ bears masses of vivid crimson flowers on a compact, well-branched shrub that is ideal for patio containers, courtyards or smaller borders. Surrounding the golden yellow stamens, each single bloom has a star at the centre that starts creamy yellow and matures to bright white. This exciting new cultivar is self-cleaning, meaning it drops its blooms once they have faded – no deadheading needed! With an open, simple shape, the bold ruby blooms are attractive to pollinators. Plant roses at the earliest opportunity following delivery. To avoid the risk from the build-up of harmful soil organisms and disease, choose an open position in full sun that has not been planted with roses in recent years. Roses enjoy a rich, fertile, well drained soil. Dig in plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting roses and add a small handful of granular fertiliser to the planting hole.
