The winner of an RHS Award of Garden Merit, Rose ‘Dublin Bay’ is a stunning small climbing rose that is ideal for walls, fences, obelisks and trellis. Fragrant, vivid crimson double blooms are produced all summer and into autumn, offset by glossy green foliage. ‘Dublin Bay’ is a relatively compact climber that is perfect for smaller spaces. Plant roses at the earliest opportunity following delivery. To avoid the risk from the build-up of harmful soil organisms and disease, choose an open position in full sun that has not been planted with roses in recent years. Roses enjoy a rich, fertile, well drained soil. Dig in plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting roses and add a small handful of granular fertiliser to the planting hole.
