Create a tower of colour with Petunia ‘Tidal Wave Improved’! This vigorous variety boasts long lax stems that can be trained upwards for a sensational summer display on the patio. The trumpet-shaped blooms are borne freely throughout the summer, in a dazzling colour mix. With good weather resistance’ you can be confident of a great display come rain or shine.

Train the stems upwards onto a climbing frame or let them cascade over low walls to create a river of colour. In beds and borders this spreading variety makes superb groundcover too. Height: 19m (6′). Spread: 90cm (3′).

. Pot up plugs and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise petunias to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days and transplant them into their final positions in containers and borders. Plant climbing petunias in a sunny position with shelter from strong winds, in any light, well drained soil. Pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching and form a bushier plant which will produce more flowers later on.
