Petunia Pegasus Wine Splash

One of the best of the immensely popular spotted Petunias. The deep velvety-purple flowers with white and yellow splashes create a dramatic contrast. Vigorous, bushy plants with a prolific, free flowering habit are smothered with trumpet shaped blooms all summer. The semi-trailing habit makes it ideal for both hanging baskets and patio containers. Height and spread: 30cm (12″). Dark purple, velvety trumpet blooms are speckled with splashes of white like a starry sky. Petunia ‘Pegasus Wine Splash’ is set to take UK garden by storm with its eye-catching good looks. Pot up petunia plants and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions for transplanting later on. Pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching and form a bushier plant which will produce more flowers later on. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days, before transplanting them outdoors into baskets, window boxes and containers in well drained soil, in full sun.
