Miscanthus ‘Kleine Fontane’

Miscanthus ‘Kleine Fontane’ is a graceful ornamental grass, that forms a mound of slender, arching foliage. This well-established variety is grown for its pendulous plumes of red flowers in late summer, which slowly fade to silvery-beige. This deciduous perennial is ideal for introducing texture and movement to the back of borders, breathing new interest into fading planting schemes well into autumn. Plant it among other grasses or dotted between broad-leaved perennials for a wispy contrast of foliage. Height: 150cm (59″). Spread: 60cm (24″).
