Lythrum Salicaria ‘Robert’ (Marginal Aquatic)

Lythrum salicaria ‘Robert’ is a well loved cultivar bearing tall branching spikes of rose pink flowers. This upright hardy perennial makes a showy display in damp borders or in the very shallow margins of ponds, adding a strong vertical element to planting schemes. Always irresistible to pollinating insects, Purple Loosestrife makes an excellent contribution to wildlife areas. Height: 90cm (36″). Spread: 45cm (18″). Planting depth: Zones 1 & 2 to 5cm (2″) below water level.
