Lychnis Flos-cuculi ‘White Robin’ (Marginal Aquatic)

A white colour variation of the wildflower Ragged Robin. Lychnis flos-cuculi ‘White Robin’ produces pretty clusters of starry white blooms that rise on upright stems throughout summer. This hardy perennial is particularly attractive to butterflies and pollinating insects making it a useful addition to wildlife areas. Originating from damp areas, Ragged Robin will thrive in difficult clay soils, boggy areas or planted around the edges of ponds. Height: 70cm (28″). Spread: 40cm (16″). Planting depth: Zones 1 & 2 to 10cm (4″) below water level.

Grow ragged robin in a sunny or semi shaded position on fertile, well drained soil that remains reliably moist in summer. Ragged robin is also suitable for clay soils, damp or boggy areas and around the edges of ponds with the crown to a maximum depth of up to 10cm (4″) below water level.
