Linum Perenne Blue

Perennial flax is a beautiful plant bearing masses of satiny, saucer-shaped blooms in a stunning shade of sky blue atop wiry stems. Blooming profusely throughout summer, Linum perenne ‘Blue’ makes a wonderful addition to cottage gardens, gravel gardens, prairie planting and containers. Thriving in full sun and nutrient-poor, very free-draining soils, flax is heat and drought tolerant, making it an ideal choice for dry spots and sandy soils. If allowed, it will soon seed around to create a beautiful drift! Height: 50cm (20in). Spread: 40cm (18in).

Grow perennial flax in full sun in a very free-draining soil. Heat and drought tolerant, it thrives in warm, dry spots. Deadhead to prolong blooming and do not fertilise. Avoid disturbing the roots once established.
