Lilaeopsis Brasilensis (Oxygenating Aquatic)

Lilaeopsis brasilensis is a particularly useful oxygenating aquatic that forms a grassy lawn at the bottom of ponds. Whereas many oxygenators prefer to have their leaves above the water, Lilaeopsis grows happily completely submerged. This ensures that all the oxygen it produces helps to oxygenate the water rather than the air above. This hardy aquatic perennial needs no maintenance and will look after itself once established. Height: 15cm (6″). Spread: 100cm (39″). Planting depth: Zones 1, 2, 3 & 4 to 60cm (24″) below water level.

Grow Lilaeopsis in moist, boggy soils or fully submerged in ponds to a maximum depth of up to 60cm (24″) below water level. Choose a position in sun or semi shade.
