Houttuynia Cordata ‘Flore Pleno’ (Marginal Aquatic)

This versatile hardy perennial will grow almost anywhere! Houttuynia cordata ‘Flore Pleno’ is popular for its extreme versatility, tolerating any conditions from boggy pond margins to dry soils in sunny borders. Throughout summer, short flower spikes appear above the foliage bearing exquisite, fully double, white blooms. This elegant cultivar has charming orange scented, heart-shaped foliage that is green, flushed with purple and red. Over time, it will produce a spreading clump that makes superb groundcover. Height: 40cm (16″). Spread: 100cm (39″). Planting depth: Zones 1 & 2 to 10cm (4″) below water level.
