Grow Media Vermiculite

Vermiculite can be used for a variety of uses, seed germination and rooting your cuttings. It can also be used for potting using 1 part of vermiculite and 2 parts compost. It expands when heated and then it traps air as it gets colder, which makes air pockets which can help with drainage. Vermiculite is non-toxic, sterile and will not rot. Improve seed germination with this naturally occurring, non-toxic mineral. Vermiculite absorbs water and nutrients, releasing them back into the soil as the seedling roots require it.
