Geranium cantabrigiense is an excellent and adaptable ground cover plant which is perfect for dry, shady spots but equally at home in a sunny spot or rockery. Geranium cantabrigiense ‘Intense’ has bright pink flowers in early summer which are more vivid than other pink varieties. It is a prolific flowerer and highly attractive to bees and other pollinators. After flowering, Geranium ‘Intense’ has a second season of interest in the autumn when the semi-evergreen leaves turn to red. Height: 25cm (10”). Spread: 50cm (20”).
Plant hardy geraniums in any well drained soil, in sun or shade. Water well to settle the soil around the roots.
