Turn up the heat in your garden this summer with the eye-popping blooms of Geranium ‘Grandeur Red’! Large, vivid scarlet flowerheads rise above scalloped, velvety green foliage throughout summer and autumn. This bushy upright variety has a neat and compact habit, making it ideal for pots and hanging baskets. Free-flowering and heat-tolerant, this superb zonal Pelargonium is easy and rewarding to grow, creating a stunning and long-lasting display for very little effort. Height and spread: 30cm (12″).
Pot up pelargonium plants and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise geraniums to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days before transplanting them into their final positions in containers, beds and borders. Plant geraniums in a sunny or semi-shaded position, in any light, non-acidic, well drained soil. Pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching and form a bushier plant which will produce more flowers later on.
