Geranium Balcon Red

Hundreds of dazzling florets spill from hanging baskets, window boxes and Flower Pouches™ in a cascade of colour. The long stems bear attractive glossy green foliage with a naturally trailing habit. With regular deadheading, these stunning ivy-leaved ‘Balcon’ geraniums will flower profusely throughout the summer months with astonishing resilience, whatever the weather. Trails to: 45cm (18″). Pot up pelargonium plants and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise trailing geraniums to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days before transplanting them into their final positions in containers, baskets and window boxes. Plant geraniums in a sunny or semi-shaded position, in any light, non-acidic, well drained soil. Pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching and form a bushier plant which will produce more flowers later on.
