The fluttering, butterfly-like flowers of Gaura ‘Siskiyou Pink’ are a joy from midsummer to late autumn. The four-petalled, rosy-pink flowers are held on graceful stems which ripple in the breeze. This drought tolerant plant is wonderfully versatile: it associates beautifully with dry-loving, Mediterranean plants in blues, pinks and silvers, looks at home in relaxed cottage-style plantings, and works harmoniously with prairie-style grasses such as pennisetum, creating an airy haze of colour and texture. Height: 100cm (40”). Spread: 80cm (32”).
Grow Gaura plants in a sunny position on moist, well drained soil. Although Gauras prefer full sun and a moist soil, they will also tolerate partial shade and drought once established.
