Euphorbia x martini ‘Walberton’s Ruby Glow’ is an especially handsome selection, pairing whorls of blue-green leaves which fade to red with large clusters of lime green flowers with red centres. In autumn, the foliage matures to a deeper purplish-red creating an additional season of interest. Whereas some Euphorbias can be sprawling, this variety remains nicely compact, lending itself to container displays as well as borders.

Once established, this drought tolerant plant will cope effortlessly with dry sunny spots in poor soil. It’s a versatile perennial that looks equally at home amongst informal cottage-style borders or formal Mediterranean gravel gardens. It’s also perfect for adding complementary foliage and solid structure to container displays. A good choice for wildlife-friendly gardens, attracting a host of beneficial pollinators.
