This sprightly orange daisy is perfect for brightening up rockeries and drought-prone areas or planted in low-maintenance containers. Erigeron aurantiacus forms spreading mats of bright green, spoon-shaped basal leaves which from June to August bear solitary, daisy-like flowers in fiery shades of coppery red. Good for pollinators.

Erigeron plants particularly dislike wet soils in winter.. Drought tolerant once established. Deadhead regularly. Cut back flowered stems to the ground in early spring. Lift and divide clumps every 2-3 years in the spring.
