Delphinium Elatum ‘Paramo Azul’

A stunning summer flowering delphinium with deep-coloured blue flower spikes with a dark bee centre. Delphinium are a classic cottage garden perennial adding height to borders. Their tall flower spikes are easily noticeable when they come into flower in the summer. This cut flower selection is both free-flowering and very sturdy. Height: 150cm (60″). Spread: 75cm (30″). Pot up delphinium plants using free-draining compost, and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outside. Once they are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting them outdoors. Choose a sunny position that is sheltered from strong winds, on moist, well drained soil. Protect young delphiniums from slugs and snails.
