Delphinium Astolat

Named after the ‘lily maid of Astolat’ who, according to Arthurian legend, died of unrequited love, you are sure to fall head over heels for the dreamy pink spires of this romantic delphinium. A Pacific Giant hybrid, this is a tall variety – adding height and drama to borders. The large, semi-double, soft pink flowers are studded with a dark bee and are excellent for pollinating insects. Height up to 1.75cm (70”). Spread: 60cm (24”).

Choose a sunny position that is sheltered from strong winds, on moist, well drained soil. Protect young delphiniums from slugs and snails.
