Dahlia ‘Sincerity’ is an exquisite variety which well deserves its Fleurostar award. Earlier to flower than most other cultivars, the bold blooms are up to 20cm in diameter and make an impressive addition to bouquets and vase displays. Forming mid-height, strongly branching plants they are equally striking in borders and containers, injecting valuable colour from midsummer onwards, just when most other perennials have peaked. Height: 60cm (24in). Spread: 45cm (18in).

Plant Dahlia tubers outdoors in April after all risk of frost has passed. Choose a sunny position in moist well drained soil. Prepare the soil by digging in plenty of well rotted manure or compost. Plant tubers at a depth of 15cm (6″) and water well. Alternatively, start tubers into growth in pots of compost in a frost free greenhouse. Transplant them into their final positions outdoors in June.
