Dahlia varieties excel at subtle colour blends and ‘Pink Suffusion’ is no exception. The flowers come in a warm glowing pink, suffused with mauve and yellow tones. Each petal-packed bloom is about 10-15cm in diameter.
Dahlias provide colour from July to October, just when the main flowering season of the garden begins to fade. They’re perfect for filling gaps, superb as cut flowers and easy to grow. Dot plant them in sunny borders or use them to add splashes of colour to patio pots. The tubers can be lifted after the first hard frosts of autumn and replanted the following spring for bigger, better displays each year.
Height: 1m (39in). Spread: 60cm (24in).
Dahlia varieties excel at subtle colour blends and ‘Pink Suffusion’ is no exception. Pot up Dahlia plants and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise dahlia plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting out in beds, borders and containers. Choose a position in full sun on any rich fertile, moist, well drained soil.
