Chlorophytum Saundersiae ‘Starlight’

This elegant grass-like perennial forms a dense clump of slender, variegated foliage that shoot upwards before arching gracefully at the tips. Unlike its better known, house plant relative – the Spider Plant, Chlorophytum saundersiae ‘Starlight’ is hardy to -5C (41F) making it suitable for a sheltered spot outdoors. Throughout summer it produces starry, white flowers that sparkle at the tips of its long stems. Simply beautiful in patio containers, and fabulous in mixed borders too, where it provides excellent structure and texture. Height: 100cm (39″). Spread: 45cm (18″).
