Evergreen Carex ‘Variegata’ is suited to sunny borders as well as shady corners, in either position it will catch the eye with the creamy edged variegated leaves and graceful movement. Plant Carex into any moist, but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Brilliant for patio containers, mixed with flowering plants. Use a John Innes no. 3 soil mixture when planting into pots.
