This rarely seen alpine campanula produces small mounds of downy, sage-like, basal leaves which bear multiple short spikes of violet-blue, bell-shaped flowers from mid to late summer. Campanula collina is a charming plant for a rock garden or alpine trough and for edging borders on freely-draining sites. Height: 20-30cm (8-12”) Spread:20cm (8”).
Grow in full sun to part shade in well drained soil where it will not sit in the wet during winter
