Once blooms finish they simply drop from the plant to be replaced with fresh flowers. Pot up Begonia plug plants into 9cm pots and grow them on in bright, frost-free conditions, away from direct sun. They can be transplanted into their final containers once they have increased in size. When all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise begonia plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days, before planting them in their final positions in containers, beds and borders. Choose a sunny or semi shaded position that is protected from strong winds.
