Enjoy both spring colour and fragrance with Azalea mollis ‘Parfumolis Yellow’. Clusters of sweetly-scented, lemon-yellow, trumpet-shaped flowers emerge from pink-tinged buds. Azalea mollis ‘Parfumollis Yellow’ exhibits good leaf retention, remaining evergreen in mild winters. Use it to add spring interest to acidic borders in partial shade or plant it in a container to transform a shady spot on the patio. Height: 150cm (59in). Spread: 100cm (39in).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
Enjoy both spring colour and fragrance with Azalea mollis ‘Parfumolis Yellow’. Grow Azaleas in moist, well drained, acid soil that has been enriched with plenty of well rotted organic matter. Choose a position in semi or dappled shade with shelter from cold drying winds. Many azaleas can cope with a sunny position provided that the soil remains reliably moist. Where soil conditions are alkaline, Azalea plants are best grown in patio containers, using a mix of ericaceous compost and a soil based compost such as John Innes No. 3. Azaleas are surface rooting so it is important to avoid planting them too deeply.
