• Molinia caerulea ssp. arundinacea ‘Mostenveld’ – an eye-catching variegated moor grass forming a neat tussock of cream and green striped leaves, which turn gold in autumn. Tall, slender flower spikes topped with silvery-purple blooms sway and shimmer in the summer breeze. Height: 120cm (48″). Spread: 60cm (24″).
• Miscanthus sinensis ‘Ruby Cute’ – an arching grass at its best in autumn, when the slender green leaves turn bright ruby red. In late summer a feathery display of silvery flower heads appears above the foliage. Reliable and easy to grow, this beautiful deciduous grass is equally attractive in containers, where its foliage will spill gracefully over the edges. Height and spread: 40cm (16″).
